Obama Did it Again?!
Once again, I am seeing a whole bunch of people (mainly stirred by Fox News (Big surprise there, huh?)) that are saying, Obama has done it again. Obama Signed this bill HR 347 into place that states anyone protesting where Secret Service is, can be arrested... meaning it’s now a federal offense and punishable for up to a year.
Ok first, no one is going to arrest someone for a year for not doing anything. Seriously people? Secondly, it’s only where Secret Service is at, meaning, someone who needs protection. I think it’s a smart move, cuz where there are protesters, there are angry people, and where there are angry people… well, you do the math.
Personally, my guess is that too many Congressman and House Reps are getting a bad rap now that too many people who don’t like their brand of politics. (hmm, sounds like someone isn’t doing his/her job well, seeing as they do (ahem) work for the PEOPLE of their Districts. And sometimes, I think the idiots up on the hill forgot WHY they are there. No, actually I don’t think that. I think they know damn well what they are doing. Greedy bastards.
I mean, come on, we know this is because they are not playing fair and they should be fired if they are not doing their job, and if they need protection, It’s because they have their hands in the wrong cookie jar: the 1% cookie jar. And they intend to keep their hands deep in that jar, so help them God.
Oh sorry, silly me, the oath that they are sworn in under… when they are elected to work for the people and not for their own personal agenda.

Well back to the note I started… before I once again, digressed into the pit of politics. There isn’t one person in this country that does everything. So why is it, every time something bad happens (in the eyes of the Republicans) its Obama’s fault. People get a clue. Here is how it works. Political Science 101.
These two dude from the House decided that they needed to beef up protection when political (or other higher profile peeps) people were out and about. Maybe these two people pissed someone off and made some not so friendly, friends that began to protest their actions. This made these two blokes sitting targets, so Representative Tom Rooney (R-Fla.) and Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT.) leading the Senate version SB 1794.
Now they say this bill is to protect ANYONE who needs Secret Service and it can be for anything from the Academy Awards to a trip the Superbowl, anyone who needs protection is gonna get it… along with a few greedy politicians. (a few… LMFAO… I crack myself up!)
My point here is that we are blaming one man for this injustice, so to speak. Yet, there are two bills floating around, the House and the Senate’s version and one of the two just got signed by the Prez himself after an OVERWHELMING vote of 338 to 3… and no folks, Ron Paul was NOT one of the nay voters as his political team may want you to believe…. Mr. Paul actually decided to sit this one out.
FOUL: You don’t get to SAY you vote against it if you DON’T VOTE! Hmm, maybe Mr. Paul is more than a politician than I thought he was.
So anyway, back to my article… Obama Did It! He didn’t really do IT. He had help. A LOT of fucking help. 338 people’s worth! In fact, let me tell you another little detail about this bill. Miraculously, that bill was passed in record time. IMAGINE THAT.. THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING QUICKLY… when they want something done anyway.
And by the way, I am not writing this because I am for Obama and Anti Ron Paul, I am ANTI POLITICS! I am angry and frustrated that the people we have elected to work for us in Washington don’t give a shit about me, or what I want. They ONLY thing that they care about is themselves, their power, and getting even wealthier. In fact, here is another little tidbit I thought I would share… did you know that 44% of Politicians are Millionaires?
Seriously? You think they are working for me? Absolutely NOT. They are and have been working for their own agendas so of course they need to have extra protection because they are playing a dangerous game here and majorly pissing people off. And Lord knows, we don’t need someone who is already pissed off chanting of their transgressions while they attend a concert in their $4000 suits.
So what am I saying then? I am saying FIRE THEM ALL! This isn’t about Republicans and Democrats, this is a class war, Upper and lower now, since in 10 years, they have managed to wipe out the entire middle class.
So I ask you people, before you type out that sentence… Obama blah blah blah blah blah.. ask yourself, did he? Did he really? Or is he one of 400 of our (not so finely polished politicians) who have managed to lie and trick us into believing that one man, Obama, is SOOO powerful that he is running around rogue in Washington and no one has the power to stop him (God I don’t know peeps, that sounds a lot like Bush Jr. to me... just ask the Dixie Chicks) yet the only thing he has managed to get pass was Obamacare, which the Republicans have pointed every finger at him for (again, one man people?) which I personally think they let Obamacare pass so they had something to blame on, while stale-mating every other piece of business that has passed through Washington over the past 3 years.
I for one, am disgusted with American politics to the point where I am finding myself ashamed to be associated with what used to be a respectful and proud country whose compassion and strength helped nations and their inhabitants continue to grow and flourish.
And whatever happened to the American Dream? Heck we can barely afford to pay rent anymore after thousands of Americans have lost everything from their jobs to their houses… all while the rich get richer, one hundred times over.
Yea, the greedy bastards need protection. I say give it to them. Because if they believe in the same God that I do, and as they claim to be, then they will be getting their riches in heaven for sure and I for one, can wait.
